Design and Build
The Galaxy S26 Edge introduces a bold redesign. It features a flat display with ultra-thin, uniform bezels and a centered punch-hole front camera. The frame is flat with gently rounded edges for comfort.
On the back, a wide horizontal camera bar spans almost the entire width of the phone but houses only two vertically aligned lenses. This design gives the phone a modern, minimal look while drawing comparisons to Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 Pro.
The S26 Edge is remarkably slim, measuring just 5.5 mm at its thinnest point. With the camera bump included, the maximum thickness reaches around 10.8 mm. Its listed dimensions are approximately 158.4 × 75.7 × 5.5 mm.
Samsung is adding Qi2 wireless charging with built-in magnets, allowing better alignment for accessories and faster charging speeds. Despite the thinner profile, the S26 Edge may include a larger battery, expected around 4,200 mAh compared to the 3,900 mAh in the previous S25 Edge.
The phone is rumored to come with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display offering a 120 Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. Depending on the market, it may be powered by either the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 or the Exynos 2600 processor.
The dual-camera setup may include a powerful 200 MP main sensor alongside a 50 MP ultra-wide lens. This would mark a big upgrade from the 12 MP ultra-wide camera in the S25 Edge.
